Volunteer Registration Required

The safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. To help keep our students and staff safe, all volunteers must register through the Verkada visitor management system before volunteering in any Cherry Creek School District building.

One-Time Registration Per School Year

Volunteer registration typically takes 5–10 minutes to complete and only needs to be completed once each school year.

During registration, you will be asked to:

• Enter your contact information
• Upload or take a photo of yourself
• Upload or take a photo of your driver's license or other government-issued ID
• Agree to the CCSD Volunteer Confidentiality and Conduct Agreement
• Tip: Registration is easiest to complete on a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), since you can quickly take and upload photos

Please register at least one day before your planned volunteer activity. Registrations are reviewed and approved by CCSD Security and may take up to 24 hours to process.

Once your registration is reviewed, you will receive an email with next steps. The email will confirm whether your registration has been approved and provide additional information if further action is needed.

Definitions:

• Volunteers are guests who are supporting students (including on field trips), completing tasks, and under the immediate supervision and direction of district licensed personnel. Volunteers must complete the volunteer form each year.
• Visitors are guests who are solely entering the building to conduct business such as participate in a meeting, eat lunch with their student, or attend a school sponsored event. 

Every person entering our buildings must have a District ID or a badge printed from the Verkada System.

Calling all dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who would like to volunteer for at least one day each year at an official WATCH D.O.G.S. ® school.

During the day, WatchDOGS may read with students, play at recess, help out with lunches, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow, and help with any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own students, but other students as well. Many school principals have reported that the mere presence of a WatchDOG dramatically reduces reports of bullying.

On the day of their participation, WatchDOGS are given a brief review of their involvement, and they wear an official WATCH D.O.G.S. ® t-shirt identifying them as WatchDOGS.
